Safeguarding
Child protection forms part of the school’s safeguarding responsibilities.
Child Protection and Safeguarding
At Trinity Oaks C of E Primary School we recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils. We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued.
All staff (including supply staff, volunteers and governors) receive child protection training/information so that they are alerted to the signs of abuse and neglect.
They have a crucial role in referring concerns and follow our policy and procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice.
Our Designated Safeguarding Leads are:
Elizabeth Woods (Headteacher)
Marnie Fisher (Deputy Headteacher)
Katy Whitford (Home School Link Worker & ELSA)
Gemma Denyer (Breakfast Club Supervisor, ELSA & Teaching Assistant)
Our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy can be viewed here. Parents and carers can request a paper copy from the school office. The Child Protection Policy links to other school policies available to view in the policies area of this website:
