Admission to Reception in September 2025

Information on admissions and how to apply for a place for your child can be found on the Surrey Website www.surreycc.gov.uk/admissions. Online applications can be made from October 2024 onwards. The deadline for applications for entry into Reception Class in September 2025 will be 15th January 2025.

Admission to Reception in September 2024

The admissions process for entry in to Reception Class in September 2024 has now been completed and places allocated in line with our Admissions Policy. Trinity Oaks CofE Primary School is a Voluntary Aided (VA) school and the Governing Body sets the admissions criteria.

In Year Admissions

We welcome enquiries from parents interested in the school. If no place is available in the year group requested children can be added to our waiting list (see below).

Applications for admission during the current school year September 2023 – July 2024 should be made to Surrey Admissions. The procedure can be found at www.surreycc.gov.uk/admissions. Our Admissions Policy for 2023-24 can be found here and the SIF for 2023-24 can be found here.

Applicants for a church place must additionally complete our Supplementary Information form 2023-24 and return it to the school.

Appeals

Parents who are not offered a place for their child have the right to appeal and information is contained within the Admissions Policy. Parents who wish to appeal should contact the school and we will arrange for the appropriate forms to be sent. Appeals will not start being heard until after the relevant closing date has passed.

Waiting lists

Parents who were not offered a place for their child, are placed on a waiting list, unless they indicate otherwise. We understand that parents may wish to check with the school that they are on the waiting list. The waiting list is ordered in accordance with our Admissions policy. Unfortunately being on a waiting list does not guarantee that a place will become available.

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

At Trinity Oaks C of E Primary School we identify children’s individual needs through liaison with pre-schools and rigorous assessment procedures which enable us to carefully track children’s progress. The admission arrangements for Surrey’s community and voluntary controlled schools for 2024 admission and Surrey’s primary and secondary coordinated schemes for 2024 have now been determined.
