Pupil Premium Funding for Disadvantaged Pupils
At Trinity Oaks C of E Primary School we carefully assess the children’s individual needs once they have settled into school. We then consider how best to support them.
We use some of our funding to provide additional teaching assistant support within the classroom and improve pupil’s learning outcomes.
We support pupils’ Personal, Social and Emotional development through Social Skills groups and provision of an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA). Pupils’ speech, language and communication is developed by provision of additional speech and language therapy. Funding is also used for structured intervention groups to help pupils catch up with their peers including: Fischer Family Trust Wave 3 Literacy intervention in Year 1 and “First Class Number” Maths intervention in Year 2.
