Year 4 Trip to Bough Beech Reservoir

Reservoir, Bough Beech, Edenbridge TN8 7PW

On Friday 30th June, Year 4 have the opportunity to visit Bough Beech Reservoir as part of our learning theme. We will be travelling by coach and leaving school at 9:15am, so please ensure children are in school by 8:50 as normal. We will be leaving at approximately 2:15pm, so should be back in time for the end of the school day.

During the day, we will be exploring the water cycle and exploring more about where we get our water from and why it needs to be treated. We will be able to visit the reservoir and find out how it fills and its impact on the area. Alongside this, we tour the treatment works and explore ways to save water. The day will be led by tutors from SES Water.

Your child will need to be in full school uniform with a hat, water-proof coat (weather dependent), a snack (no nuts) and a water bottle. They will also need a packed lunch for the day. All their belongings need to fit in a back pack that your child can carry to and from the coach. Once we are there, they will be stored in a dedicated cloakroom.

The cost of the trip is £18.50, which covers the cost of the coach to and from Bough Beech If you have any concerns regarding the payment, please speak to myself or Mrs Whitford in confidence.

Payment and consent can be made via Parentmail and should be done by 23rd June.
